Max Morris is an artist from Montana with classical training from the Barcelona Academy of Art.
His work focuses on documenting traditional culture and wild places in the face of a changing World.
In 2024, he spent the summer living in a Samburu village in Northern Kenya, drawing inspiration from the people, their traditions, and the surrounding landscape. His sketches and paintings aim to honor and preserve the essence of these experiences- highlighting the beautiful intricacies of indigenous culture.
Max is currently apprenticing with renowned wildlife artist John Banovich, where he continues to refine his craft while exploring themes of conservation and the wild.
He is a member of the Tribal Heritage NGO, focused on preserving indigenous cultural practices through direct work with tribal societies.
